Learning and Living The Gospel - CTR

This activity was to pass of the requirement - Learn to sing “Choose the Right” (Hymns, no. 239). Explain what agency is and what it means to be responsible for your choices. Discuss how making good choices has helped you develop greater faith - in Learning and Living the Gospel. 

We talked about Free agency and ways to make good choices. We read a couple stories from church magazines and talked about each story and how it corrilated to choosing the right. Then we played a Life Size Choose the Right Board game. Links to the stories we read and the board game are below. You can print off the board game if you don't want to make a full size game.

Faith in God Basic Requirment - Pray Daily and Read Scriptures Regularly

This activity focused on praying daily to heavenly father and reading the scriptures regularly. This is a basic requirement for the Faith in God award. To help each of us to remember to read and pray we painted pillow cases and made bookmarks for our scriptures. On the bookmarks there is a calendar for the month of August for the girls to mark if they read and prayed that day. The girls who read and pray each day will get to choose a little prize at the first activity in September so remember to bring your bookmarks with you to that activity!  For those who missed the activity you can print the bookmark and do the challenge along with us.
