Learning and Living the Gospel - Family History

For our activity we learned about Family History to pass off the Learning and Living the Gospel Requirement: Prepare a pedigree chart with your name and your parents’ and grandparents’ names. Prepare a family group record for your family and share a family story. Discuss how performing temple work blesses families.

We learned a little about familysearch.org and shared stories about our ancestors. This was the handout we used to do a family tree. If you missed the activity you can print it and pass it off too. To print you'll have to copy the image into word then print it through there until I figure out how to allow printing directly from the post. :)  

We also talked and brainstormed some fun activities to help pass of some more requirements for each girl to get their Faith in God award. If you have any other ideas, post them in the comments and what requirement they complete. Be creative! I encourage each parent to review with their daughters where they are in earning their Faith in God award.
