Articles of Faith
This activity completed 2 requirements. Preparing For Young Women - After studying the thirteenth article of faith, make a list of things that are uplifting and virtuous. Discuss with a parent or leader how you can seek after these things. AND Serving Others: Read the twelfth article of faith. Discuss what it means to be a good citizen and how your actions can affect others.
For this activity we made Article of Faith Cards for each girl to use as a study aid to memorize the 13 Articles of Faith which is also a requirement for the Faith in God Award. Each Article of Faith had an acronym to also help them study. The girls cut out the articles of faith and glued them onto a cute card stock then out them on a ring to keep them together. After making their cards we read the twelfth and thirteenth articles of Faith and discussed them.
